Handmade in Texas, USA
100% natural materials...genuine aged cedar planks from Texas! Each has been crafted by Mother Nature to a rustic but, elegant grey tone. The vertical section, or stipes (pronounced sty' peez) is a full 24 inches tall. The horizontal piece, or patibulum (pronounced puh tib' u lum) is an appropriate 16 inches wide. The two are securely fastened together with hemp rope expertly tied in the Boy Scout's Mark II square lashing. No nails, no glue, no "foreign" materials.
The unique "RR" on the cross actually has three meanings. Yes, it is the Ricky's Repurpose logo. Most think the company name is about repurposed wood, which is true but, again, not the full meaning. The venture has repurposed Ricky's life in greater dedication to his faith. So, that's two. And the third is our belief in Resurrection and Redemption. So, enjoy our cross on your wall and tell the story to others as you answer the question..."What's that "RR" stand for...?"
